Eaglecrest possesses a variety of challenges over its 18 holes. The first three holes have a links-style feel, while the middle nine holes wind through fir- and cedar-lined fairways. The final six holes provide the conclusive test. The two decisive holes in any match are the par five at the 14th – lined by lakes on either side with a notorious pot bunker guarding the large green, and the 400 yard 17th – with its narrow landing area, a gaping green side bunker and slippery four-tiered narrow green. Challenging tests, even for the most seasoned golfer.
